Teacher, Edmond Memorial High School, Edmond, Oklahoma 2005-2015

  • Helped the administrative team develop a new format for parent-teacher conferences that increased parent participation. The new format was an open format where parents can come and go and meet teachers in a central location.  The new format was so successful that all secondary schools now use this format.
  • Algebra 2 End Of Instruction assessment pass rate of over 90%.
  • Taught a summer remediation class for students who failed Algebra 1 End Of Instruction assessments. 28 of 31 students passed a retake of the Algebra 1 End Of Instruction assessment.
  • Grade book manager for faculty 2006 to 2015; helped with any questions or issues that related to the grade book program.
  • Taught staff development for faculty on the effective use of the SMARTboard 2010 to 2015.
  • Chosen as Edmond Memorial Teacher of the Year in 2009-2010.
